Currently seconded from the Vancouver Police Department to the Justice Institute of BC Police Academy, Jamie raised his hand when the call was put out to past attendees of Blueprint’s First Responder Resiliency Program.

David Kuhl and Paul Nakhla talk to Steve Farina, a recently retired fire fighter with the City of Coquitlam, Executive Vice President with the BC Professional Fire Fighters Association (BCPFFA), and one of the earliest supporters of Blueprint's First Responder Resiliency Program for BC's fire service. Steve talks about the team culture and the impacts of working as a fire fighter, breaking unhealthy cycles of masculinity within the profession, and his current top priorities - being there as a dad, a partner, and a mentor.
